GRIGGSVILLE – PERRY ELEMENTARY & HS

2pm Dismissal tomorrow, Wednesday April 2nd. Shuttle bell and elementary pick up line starts at 1:45pm.
There is NO softball practice today. Practice tomorrow after school in the little gym for hitting.
Don’t forget to get your donkey basketball tickets this week! They are $9 in advance, but $13 at the door with preschool children being free. Remember that children 12 and under get to ride a donkey between the games for free and we also have the kiss the donkey contest happening. If you want to vote for one of the ladies to get to kiss the donkey, drop your coins in the container with their picture on it! There are containers in the main office, at Rumors, Teddys, Caseys, and Jiffi Stop.
If you are wanting to ride a donkey, please see Mrs. Conkright as soon as possible to get a rider's release to read and sign. If you are 16-18, you must have a parent signature, or you can’t ride.
It will be a fun evening of giggles and entertainment! We hope to see you all there!
Parents, please let your children know what they will be doing after school, either leave a note in their planner or email the teacher. Sometimes the office gets busy and we aren’t able to get a message to the teacher in time.
NHS inductions will be held Tuesday, April 8th in the small gym.
The Class of 2027 is selling Spirit Wear/Gear from March 29th to April 13th. All Money is due at time of ordering. Orders will be ready for delivery May 4. If you are interested in purchasing anything, reach out to a sophomore or Ali Baker.
The varsity HS baseball game at Pikeland vs Payson-Seymour that was cancelled last night has been rescheduled April 14th.
High School Cheerleading tryouts sign up sheet is in the office. Tryouts are tentatively set for Saturday, April 26th, the last day to sign up is Wednesday, April 9th. You must have an updated physical on file.
Umpire Clinic will be held on Sunday, April 6th at the G-PSL Ball Field at the Fairgrounds from 12:30pm-4pm.
Anyone interested in umpiring for G-PSL this spring is asked to attend the training clinic to learn about the responsibilities and expectations of Little League umpires. Umpires must be 7th grade and older. Questions? Contact Kimber at (217) 257-7579

Senior Parents! We have senior ads available for purchase. Choose a size and write something memorable for your senior to go in the yearbook. Please include pictures you would like of your senior. The Annual Pike CEO Tradeshow is here! Join us at our highly anticipated Trade Show event that features an assortment of products and services created by all of the Pike CEO members. The Trade Show will be held on Thursday, April 24th from 10am to 2pm and Friday, April 25th from 9am to 1pm and will be located at John Wood Community College, 39637 260th Ave Pittsfield, Il.
Calvary Archery Club has started, this is a 10-week long program, meeting every Tuesday night from 6pm to 7:30pm. The club will meet in the former PCCA building, 1308 W Washington, Pittsfield IL. This program is offered for FREE to teach the youth of Pike County archery skills and the love of Christ. To register or for more details, call 217-285-4282 or 309-792-8269. SENIORS!! We are in need of your senior pictures for the yearbook ASAP! Choose your favorite pics and email them to Ms. Harris. Here is a list of students who still need to get pictures to Ms. Harris: Gunnar, Aislee, Chloe, Julian, Braden B, Bradyn L, Alexis M, Gabby and Garrett. If you are not getting professional pictures taken, choose your favorite photo of yourself to send or yearbook can take a photo of you.
